Graduate success continues at Merriwa

Merriwa celebrated the graduation of their second group of employees to participate in the Certificate I in Work Education, facilitated by Indie College.

Merriwa’s employees who completed the introductory modules of the course were; Lawrence Richards, James Parkes, Kynan Twomey, Cyril Skinner, Jeremy Kelly, Christopher Black, Fiona Beck and William Flynn.

Joined by family, friends and their team mates, the graduates were extremely proud and thrilled to be recognised for their hard work, learning and success.

Natalie Milgate, People Engagement Manager at Merriwa, said the sense of achievement from the group was just brilliant, “We are very proud of our group of graduates and it’s fantastic that as an organisation we can grow and develop our people through learning opportunities in the community.

“This has really opened the door for many of our employees in terms of building confidence, learning more about their capabilities and developing new skills.

“This will be a stepping stone for our employees to go onto further learning and education opportunities at an Intermediate module level and we will also be looking to enrol a new group of employees in the near future, to continue to build our culture of learning at Merriwa.”
