On Friday 11th March, Packaging team member Andrea Simmons participated in the World’s Greatest Shave, shaving her head in memory of her brother Tom, who lost his battle with Leukaemia 21 years ago.

The shave off was held at Merriwa’s Packaging division with the team watching on and bidding to get the first cut. Andrea’s mother and her brother’s best friend were also in attendance to support the cause.

Andrea’s goal was to raise $1,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation and she has exceeded her goal raising over $1,500.
